Higate Media was built because nobody was representing us. Not in Daly City. Not in the Bay. Nobody gave a damn about the creatives in the shadows. The quiet ones with loud ideas. The misfits. The weirdos. The kids who were never voted most likely to succeed. The ones who didn’t go to film school, who didn’t network at the “right” events, who didn’t have the budget or the clout but still had the vision.

We’re not here to chase trends. We’re not here to look polished for the sake of aesthetics. We’re here to document the real. To amplify voices that never get heard. To build platforms for artists who’ve been told they’re “too different,” “too raw,” “too much.”

Higate Media was born in Daly City, a place that’s too often overlooked and underloved in creative spaces. We’re tired of watching other cities get the spotlight while ours remains silent. So we made our own stage. A stage that travels with us, rooted in community, culture, and truth.

We don’t just shoot videos. We tell stories. We shape sound. We design moments. We market souls, not just products. From documentaries to music videos, brand content to artist rollouts, our work is for those who don’t fit the mold and never fucking wanted to anyway.

We’re a collective of filmmakers, musicians, editors, marketers, and artists who give a fuck. We’re building something that doesn’t just look good — it means something.
